Get your free ticket to the Terrasse Dufferin Toboggan Run in a participating SDC du Vieux-Québec shop, starting January 24 at noon. First come, first served!

Limit of two tickets per person.

Regular tickets will be sold on site at the cost of $3 for Québec City residents (postal codes beginning with G) and $4 for non-residents.

How do I get to Swing & Glisse?

Swing & Glisse takes place simultaneously at two locations: Place D’Youville and Terrasse Dufferin. We encourage you to use public transport and to visit the RTC website to plan your route. https://www.rtcquebec.ca/

Where can I park my car?

Parking is limited in Old Québec. That’s why we recommend you get there on foot, by bike or by public transit. If you’d like to get there by car, here is where you can park:
  • SPAQ Parking — D’Youville (965 Rue D’Youville, Québec City, QC G1R 3P1)
  • SPAQ Parking — City Hall (29 Côte de la Fabrique, Québec City, QC G1R 5M1)
  • Parking meter on the streets
These parking spots are all subject to a charge.

Is there a charge to participate?

Access to Swing & Glisse is completely free! Come one, come all!

Is the toboggan run at Terrasse Dufferin free?

A paid ticket is needed to access the toboggan run at Terrasse Dufferin:
  • $3 for residents of Québec City (postal codes starting with G)
  • $4 for non-residents.
NOTE! Starting at 12 p.m. on January 24, tickets will be distributed free of charge by participating SDC businesses. Limit of two tickets per person. First come, first served! Click here to find a participating business!

Will there be food for sale at the festival site?

At Terrasse Dufferin, you can buy food and drink at the Au 1884 kiosk. Many restaurants, cafés and shops also offer food and drinks in Old Québec. Discover them for yourself! You can pay by cash or card.

What should I wear?

The end of January is a particularly cold and windy time in Québec City. We strongly recommend that you dress warmly, especially if you plan on ice skating or tobogganing.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Activities will be held as long as weather permits it. Follow us on social media for the latest updates!

Is there an indoor area for families?

The Swing & Glisse Festival takes place exclusively outdoor. We recommend that you dress warmly to take full advantage of the activities offered.

Where can I find the festival program?

You can go to one of the reception kiosks if you have any questions. A member of our team will be happy to answer you!

Où sont les toilettes les plus proches?

On Terrasse Dufferin, the nearest public toilets are located at the tourist information booth (12 Saint-Anne Street) and at the Jardins de l’Hôtel-de-Ville. At Place D’Youville, the public toilets are located next to the skating rink, in the building where you can put on your skates.
